The usual adult dosage of Streptolex is 10 mg 3 times daily (range, 15 to 60 mg/day) 2 hours after meals. Streptolex should be taken for 1 to 2 weeks as an anti-inflammatory agent and up to 4 weeks as a mucolytic agent.
SIDE EFFECTS:
If you take Streptolex as directed by the manufacturer, then you should not experience any unwanted side effects. However, if you do take more of these capsules than you should, seek medical advice right away.
